The Vertex Tiltrotor UAS


The Vertex Tiltrotor is a complete Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) solution for aerial mapping applications.  The Vertex employs a patent-pending hybrid design that combines the hover and Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) capabilities of a multicopter with the fast and efficient forward flight capabilities of an airplane into one practical platform.  The result is an UAV that is more practical than conventional fixed-wing aircraft, and more capable than multicopters.

Patent-pending design uses four independently-tilting propellers to allow it to take off and land vertically from small areas, and two tandem wings for efficient forward flight for greater speed and range than typical multicopter UAVs.

High-definition camera located inside the fuselage capable of taking high-definition aerial pictures.

User-friendly tablet-based interface for mission planning and control, as well as fully autonomous flight operation from vertical takeoff to landing.

Can be assembled and disassembled in just two minutes, and stored in a compact and rugged carrying case.
