Typhon DMX

Overview

Typhon DMX: The Drone Mission Explorer is a software tool that allows flight simulation of arbitrary UAV systems such as multicopter, fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft.  It can interface with 3rd party flight controllers and ground control station software to provide a full simulation of the UAV system.

As a mission planning tool, it allows UAV service providers to plan and rehearse missions by flying within a 3D representation of the service site.

As a training tool, aspiring pilots can leverage the power simulation to train in varied flight environments and conditions, or as a seasoned pilot to maintain optimum proficiency.

Typhon DMX also serves as a powerful tool for UAV R&D teams to develop flight control code via software- and hardware-in-the-loop simulation.  This allows the engineer to test the code in a virtual environment and to dramatically reduce the time and effort required during actual flight tests.
